NC ITLS STUDENT'S AREA
This area is designed to provide students additional tools and guidance when taking an ITLS class. These classes are taught basically the same all over the world with the same materials. Even the military utilizes this program to teach their medical personnel trauma treatment in accordance with this national standard.
You should remember this. While this class may be taught to a standard, absolutely nothing in this class should be construed to override anything your ALS Medical Director prescribes in your protocols. Regardless of any conflict between your Medical Director's protocols and anything contained in any ITLS teaching, YOUR MEDICAL DIRECTOR is your ultimate authority for practice in your ALS program and you should follow your ALS Protocols at all times.
